Registration is now open for Summer Camp 2009 at the Southeast Museum of Photography. We have a range of fun and educational activities for children ages 8-15. Our camps start on June 8th and continue through June 25th, but are structured as one week sessions. Sign up for one or take advantage of our multi-session discounts. Camps run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. All material costs are included in the weekly session price, but children may bring their own digital cameras if they so choose. Students will get the opportunity to explore how light sources and subject matter can be manipulated in a studio setting one week, then how an artificial utopia can be created on a computer the next. There will be plenty of hands-on activities, with a “make-and-take” approach that will allow campers to bring their creations home each evening to show family & friends. Remember, spaces are limited so reserve your spot today! For more information about our summer camp, please contact us via e-mail or at 386-506-3165. |
